North Carolina Oncology Management Society (NCOMS) is a society comprised of Oncology Managers/Administrators, affiliate members, and corporate members who are interested in the operations and management of oncology practices.

Managers and affiliate members come from private practice, hospital-owned/based practices, and nationally-owned corporate practices. Corporate members are from pharmaceutical companies and vendors directly interactive in oncology.

The North Carolina Oncology Management Society (NCOMS) provides information, practice management resources and issue alerts for its members as it promotes the highest possible standards for community oncology practices.

By joining individual practice voices together, NCOMS gains strength as it seeks to improve the delivery of cancer care services.

NCOMS members:

The Society was formed in March of 1993 and continues to grow in both membership and scope. There are two major meetings (held in Spring and Fall of each year. National speakers present oncology-specific issues (i.e. managed care, coding, personnel issues, federal/state legislation, practice management skills, insurance company updates, etc.).
