NCOMS Scholarship Program
NCOMS believes in investing in the future of oncology professionals. We are excited to champion your journey toward promoting quality cancer care. Our scholarship program is here to support employees of NCOMS member practices in becoming caregivers, professionals, and leaders in cancer-related fields or occupations. We provide financial assistance up to $1,000 per recipient annually! Our oncology career development scholarships are available to your entire practice.
This scholarship supports eligible applicants pursuing education or certification in cancer-related fields or occupations.
HOW IT WORKS
Timeline
- Applications open in April and are due before September 1st for all college-related courses
- Certification scholarship applications in cancer-related fields or occupations are accepted year-round
- Applicants are notified by October 15th whether they will be awarded
- Requirements are due before December 31st
- Checks are issued once scholarship requirements are met & approved
Requirement Criteria for Degrees
- Provide proof of completed course with grade of “C” or higher
- Copy of paid receipts equal to or greater than the scholarship amount
- Provide mailing information if the funds are to go directly to the institute of higher learning
- Financial Aid Letter of Award for the semester (if applicable)
- Letter from Administrator showing status of current employment
Requirement Criteria for Certificates
- Official documentation showing you passed the Certification
- Copy of paid receipts equal to or greater than the scholarship amount
